Welcome, from the BIG Booster Club!
The BIG Booster Club, which we will refer to as the BBC, is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of team parents who love the sport of gymnastics, and wish to support and encourage the BIG Gymnastics Team from level 4 through level 10.
It is our purpose to promote team spirit and camaraderie through organized team activities, and to provide opportunities for fundraisers and special events to benefit the team program of Balance Institute of Gymnastics. We are also committed to giving back to the community through our BIG Girls Care program which is dedicated to “kids helping kids.”
The BBC plays an important role throughout the year, working directly with the coaching staff to plan events and maintain open lines of communication to parents. We have heard repeatedly in the past that lack of communication is a common frustration in the gymnastics world. This is something that BIG and the BBC want to change. It is our goal to utilize this site as a communications hub for the booster club and the gym. The BBC officers welcome any team related questions, ideas, and concerns.
Being a gymnast requires hard work, dedication, discipline, and respect for your team mates and coaches. We, as parents, should strive to promote the mental, physical, and moral development of our team members. We are here to celebrate with one another during our successes, as well as to support one another during difficult times.
It is an honor to be a member of the BIG Gymnastics Program and we look forward to a future of many successful seasons.
