Every year the BIG team girls participate in many different programs that help give back to the community and children in need. This program was set up by the Booster Club and gym to help promote a "kids helping kids" mentality.
In the past the girls have:
-Packed Care Packages for local shelters
-Made blankets for Children's hospitals
-Held Cartwheel-a-thons to raise money for different foundations/causes
-Helped a local cancer patient raise money for medical treatment
-Have made "wish trees" to brighten a child's day
-And lots more!
This competition season, our team girls will be attending a variety of meets from November through May. This is their journey this year...
Every year the Coaches, along with the staff and the BBC, organize a Fall Dance-Off event for the Team Girls followed by a family spaghetti dinner. The team girls are separated into random groups (mixed by age and level) and given a song the day of the dance-off. At that time, the girls go to an assigned house and have a few hours to choreograph their own dance and to get dressed up and prepared to strut their stuff later that night in front of all of the parents and coaches. It is an event that the girls look forward to all year long!

BIG's Kick N Pom Camp is a Summer Camp designed for the girl who loves to dance, cheer or just wants to get out some energy! This 3 day camp is taught by the Illinois 2010-2011 State Champion Danceline Girls from Hinsdale Central along with some of your favorite Coaches from BIG! This is a great place for your girls to come and experience a little of what cheerleading, poms and danceline is really all about! Look for summer camp registration every April or call for more details!
BIG shut their doors and turned into a mobile food packing unit to host their 2nd Annual BIG Haiti Project during the weekend of June 24th-26th, 2011. With approximately 2,000 volunteers, BIG, in conjunction with the Clarendon Hills Men’s Parish and Feed My Starving Children, packed 404,352 meals which will feed 1,108 children for an entire year!
The BIG Girls participate in the Annual Hinsdale 4th of July Parade!
Level 7's head to Florida for the 1st ever USAG Open Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports on Disney property. This prestigious invitation came after they were named 2011 State Champions!
