GRADE SCHOOL PROGRAM
BIG Beginners (55 min - Ages 6 +): This class is an introduction to all four gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam and floor! On every event they will work on basic skills. (Vault: proper running positions and straight jumps, Bars: glides, front arm support, pullovers and strength training, Beam: basics walks, gymnastics terminology, and confidence & Floor: handstand, cartwheels and rolls)
BIG Intermediate (55 min - gymnast needs evaulation - Ages 6 +): In this instructor invite class, kids have mastered the skills in the beginner girls class and will focus on working on progressions and connection of skills. (Vault: proper arm circle straight jump, Bars: glide punch pullovers, Beam: Handstand on high beam and term preps, Floor: walk-overs, limbers, round-off shaping)
BIG Advanced (55 min - gymnasts needs evaluation - Ages 6 +): In this instructor invite class, kids have mastered the skills from the beginner and intermediate classes and will focus on continuing their progression of skills. (Vault: handstand flatbacks and strength training, Bars: casting with height requirements and back hip circles, Beam: jumps, turns and dismounts, Floor: walkovers, limbers, back handsprings and round-offs)
BIG Expert (55 min - gymnast needs evaluation - Ages 6 +): In this instructor invite class, kids have mastered the skills from the beginner, intermediate and advanced classes and will focus on requirements geared towards our Xcel competition program.
Tiny Tumblers (45 min - Ages 4-5): This class is for the young child in your life who is interested in only tumbling! In class they will focus on forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and more! This class is a great strength, coordination and confidence builder!! In this class, they will also incorporate the use of tumble track and trampoline!
Beginner Tumble (55 min - Ages 6+): This class focuses solely on tumbling skills, including handstands, cartwheels, bridges and handstand forward rolls. This class is for the child who wishes to pursue cheerleading, or build strength and coordination using spotting and self-help stations, plus tumble-track and trampoline.
Intermediate Tumble (55 min - Evaluation or Reccomendation Required): This class focuses solely on tumbling skills, including backbends/limbers, walk-overs and the continuation of perfecting our basics!
Advanced Tumble (55 min - Evaluation or Recommendation Required): This is the perfect class to learn tumbling skills from walk-overs, round-offs, back handspring shaping and back handsprings!
Expert Tumble (55 min-*Evaluation or Recommendation Required): In this class, tumblers will work on skills moving both forward and backward. A back handspring is required. They will focus on skills such as back tucks, front tucks, etc.
